Description

Something Something Games is a Scottish games studio set up and run by brothers Jamie and Ian Wilson. As a duo we’ve been passionately making games since 2016. With all our games we strive to seek out unexplored design challenges and our games always embody the quirky and fun spirit that we have when approaching the art of making games.

History

Early history

We finished university in 2015/16 and decided to jump straight into making games. Our first title was "Detective Bot" a silly physics-based detective game that echoed games such as "Octodad: Deadliest Catch" and “Human Fall Flat”. “Detective Bot” combines a free form physics movement system with novel detective gameplay loop that allows for open ended mysteries that mirror the sandbox nature of the physics elements of the game.

After that

After the release of Detective Bot we went on to develop "Bunker Down" and started the prototype for "Kick Bastards". After a couple of months of development on "Kick Bastards" we took a period of several months to work on some quick fire shorter experiences such as the parody horror game "Ronald".

Current Status

We are approaching the release of Kick Bastards and are working hard to make it the best game we possibly can!
